Timeless Teachings in a Changing World
Our Montessori classrooms are busy, productive places with attractive and carefully made materials, which enable our students to work at their own pace. Each child is allowed to choose his/her own work, carrying it out to completion with great concentration and enthusiasm. Our curriculum emphasizes the development of the whole child within a helpful, respectful, and cooperative community.
We help each child achieve his/her full potential by following these key premises of Montessori education:

Children are to be respected as individuals who differ from each other.

Children possess unusual sensitivity and mental powers for absorbing and learning from their environment.

The most important years of growth are the first six years of life, when unconscious learning is gradually brought to the conscious level.
Ages 2.5 - 4.75 years
Students must be 2.5 years old by Sept. 30th and be potty-trained to be eligible for this program.
Ages 4.75 - 6 years
Must be 5 years old by Dec. 30th and have outgrown the need for a nap – Teacher permission required.
Children participating in both the Full-Day and Kindergarten programs attend a Primary class five days a week from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. They are in the mixed age group for the morning portion of the day and then continue their Montessori work after lunch. Some special activities are reserved for the Kindergarten year.
Ages 2.5 - 6 years
After Care starts at noon for our younger students and at 2:45 for our Full-Day & Kindergarten students. Before Care may also be available starting at 7:50 or 8:00 a.m. Please check with the office for details.
Ages 4.75 - 6 years
Kindergarten Students must be 5 years old by Dec. 30th.

2017 Camp is just around the corner! Eight week summer camp will run from 6/17 - 8/11 with available hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Options include French Immersion or Montessori mornings, theme activity afternoons, STEAM activities, and loads of summer fun!
