To our MCS Families & Alumni
Montessori Country School (MCS) turned 47 this year! After all these years, we continue to offer a premier Montessori education while expanding our programs and offerings to the community. We now offer a toddler program starting at 16 months of age. Alumni families, like yours, are part of our proud history, and we want to celebrate our alumni stories with the community and future families. As a reminder, our redesigned website has an area to highlight our alumni and their accomplishments. Please consider sending a brief description of what your MCS alumni are doing along with a photo that we would have permission to post to the website at www.mcsherndon.com/alumni. We also invite you to ‘Like’ our Montessori Country School Facebook pageand see what’s currently happening at MCS!
On another note, over the years families purchased alumni bricks to be installed on our second commemorative brick wall; the bricks are finally here!!! We love to see our alumni remain connected to their early education roots at MCS. Please save the date, January 26th, 2019 for a winter social and wall dedication. We will celebrate with a movie night for the children and cocktail hour for the adults. Alumni are always welcome and encouraged to stop by anytime to say hello – Mrs. Wilson is still here!
We are continuing our Annual Fund Drive with all donations going directly to helping MCS continue its mission as a premier, non-profit Montessori school. Our MCS families send heartfelt thanks to all who donated last year!! We hope that you have seen the value of the educational foundation in practical life, language, grace and courtesy that you received from your days at MCS. We hope that we can count on your commitment to support MCS through a donation in the months ahead; donations are welcome in any amount. Your participation and generosity will make a difference in our community by allowing us to continue to offer scholarships and build a new sign at the corner.
In keeping with our new GO GREEN effort, this letter has come to you via email; click on the "Donate!" link to quickly and easily make your donation. Please note that all donations are tax-deductible.
Remember that your donation makes a difference, regardless of size. Thank you in advance for your
Wishing you and your family all the best in 2019!
